Great Woof Daycare Policy

 Is your dog getting the exercise and socialization they need?  Let your dog join the Great Woof pack for  a fun and active day that ends with you bringing home a happy and pooped pooch to cuddle on the couch with!   Great Woof doggy day care services are designed to improve your pup’s quality of life in a supervised safe, fun, and nurturing environment. We provide both dog and human interaction that benefits mental stimulation and socialization. Our spacious indoor and outdoor play areas allow for maximum fun and the chance for your four-legged family member to burn off some of that pent-up energy.

Great Woof Lounge Requirements

For a safe, streamlined transition into daycare, your dog should:

Pass a temperament evaluation

Be at least four months old, with all boosters up to date, including Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper/Parvo

Be spayed or neutered, if over 12 months and in daycare

Be free of contagious diseases, viruses, or parasites, such as ticks, fleas, and influenza

Must be current on flea and tick preventative

Upon successfully passing the temperament evaluation, your pup will have access to participate in our daycare services. With an emphasis on safety, the dogs in our care thrive in the indoor playrooms and our large outdoor yard to best suit their play style.​

 If you need to cancel a scheduled daycare please cancel by 11:59 pm the night beforeDue to limited daycare availability, owners who do not cancel a scheduled daycare and do not show up will be charged the full amount for the spot they reservedPlease note:For a seamless first day, we politely request for your pup to be dropped off between 7:00 am and 9:00 am. Our friendly team will evaluate your dog’s behavior, personality, and play style, identifying concerns that may need to be resolved before they are introduced to the group. If no issues arise, they will receive a green light to join one of our playgroups.Rest assured; our staff will keep you updated about your dog’s progress throughout the evaluation day.We encourage all pups to hop into a crate for nap time. If there’s something else that would better suit your dog for nap time, we’re always a call away.Once your dog has enjoyed a fun-packed first day, you’re welcome to jump on our online scheduling system for ultra-easy reservations. Due to limited capacity, some days may be fully booked.No Saturday / Sunday Daycare hours. Quiet Room coming soon for a really low key day, great for injured pups or seniors who can’t be left alone. 

A full day of play is physically and mentally challenging for your dog in the best way.  Your dog might come home and sleep for hours and appear lethargic.  Don’t worry, they are not sick they just have a Great Woof hangover!  We all know the best cure for that is lots of rest, cuddles, water and of course  hair of the dog so we look forward to doing it all again tomorrow! 

You may also notice your dog has minor scratches, don’t be alarmed it’s a sure sign that your dog was playing with new friends how their instincts tell them too, with their paws and mouth.
